Isaiah 54:17;
Revelation 12:7-8; &
Psalms 69:22–27
So understand the formation of weapons now. Understand that, as you are sitting here now, there are some spirits working 24/7 to fashion weapons against different people, and they will not use the same weapon for everybody.
They know those whose weakness is in food. Some of it is anger. Some is sex. Some are alcohol. Some have envy.
The enemy knows and fashions weapons accordingly to catch the person, and it is a very serious matter. Understand this fact, number one.
You can understand why the Psalmist too crafts his prayer against the enemy that is crafting weapons against him.
It is not all weapons that can conquer all enemies. Prayer is like that too. It is not all prayer that can conquer them.
I shared this with you many years ago. Let me share it again.
As a Sunday School Teacher in children’s class, one day I was trying to teach them simple spiritual warfare. I was amazed by the lessons I learnt from the kids.
I said,, “Children, tell me. If you have an enemy and that enemy is a housefly, how will you fight and destroy it?
They talked amongst themselves and said, “Teacher, we will use daddy’s bathroom slippers to kill it.”I said good.
Then I asked, “Supposing the enemy is a snake?”
They talked amongst themselves and said,, “Teacher, we will need a big stick to smash its head. and I said very good. I asked again, “Supposing the enemy is a lion?
They put their heads together again and said,_ “Teacher, we are going to need a gun. I said, that is very good. I asked again, What if the enemy is an elephant?
That one took them time. They debated, then came back and said, Teacher, we are going to need a gun. But this time, a machine gun.
Now, these were children who understood that all weapons cannot work against all problems and all enemies.
If your enemy is a mosquito, you do not take a machine gun to the mosquito. Prayer is like that.
This is the mystery that the Psalmist understood that even modern-day man does not understand.
This is the mystery he understood, and he was praying red-hot prayers. And I tell you one secret: the psalmist never lost a battle.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I am praying for somebody reading this message
Any power that is conspiring against your destiny to rubbish it, with a tenfold amen, rubbish that enemy, in the name of Jesus.
Now, I have covered that part. There is another thing you need to understand again.
There are so many teachings going on these days, particularly on social media, which has a wide array of ignorant Pastors and Ministers.
They are those who just talk and do not really sit down to look at the Bible carefully.
I did not write these scriptures, remember?The Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries did not write the Bible.
Revelation 12:7-8 (KJV) says:
- “And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels.
- And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
There was war in heaven? Really? Does that mean our loving, merciful God fights?
Many people preach that holy people do not fight anybody, that you should just let go of the battles of life, and that it is because you are a sinner that is why you are fighting the battles of life.
What sin did God commit to be fighting war in heaven? What sin did God commit for war to break out in heaven? Do they go to war in heaven? Does God fight? Or is there a very good reason God is called a Man of War? Or The Lord of Hosts?
If God is a Man of War and He is the Lord of Hosts, should you, as a believer, not be a fighter? In this same passage, the Bible says that Michael and his angels fought and that the dragon and his angels also fought.
So, could there be this kind of commotion in heaven? The very home of God, where there is supposed to be perfect peace? Or is there something about God we do not know very well? Have we misunderstood so many things?
There was war in heaven. So there are armies in heaven. The Air Force, Navy, and Marines are all there._
In that war in heaven, Michael and his angels fought. The blunt truth is this: some peace will never come, except through war.
Many times, the best method of defence is attack. When they say people are peacekeepers, peacekeeping often means war.
In any war or battle at all, it is better to take out your enemy before they take you out. The enemy you ignore may never spare you. You need to relocate those enemies, or they will relocate you.
In fact, the Bible calls us people who have armour. It says,“Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.”
If you do not do the fighting, you may get swallowed up in the war you are avoiding. This is a very, very serious situation.
David was a very kind man physically. His physical actions against his enemies were okay. Saul pursued him all over the place.
Then a day came when David had the opportunity of killing him. But he did not do it. He just cut off a piece of Saul’s robe and said to him, My master, if I wanted to kidnap you, I would have killed you. See.”
David prayed like fire, but he was a kind person. This is a very serious matter. Read your Bible very well.
The New Testament contains curses against the enemy. It is not that they were unkind, but they pronounced curses.
Paul cursed Bar Jesus for resisting the gospel. Peter pronounced the death sentence on Ananias and Sapphira.
Paul handed Hymanaeus and Alexander over to Satan. If you read the New Testament, you see Jesus saying, Woe. Woe unto you, Scribes.
“Woe unto you, Pharisees. Woe unto you hypocrites.”Woe is a very strong word
Woe means ;unhappiness;-heartache
-heartbreak; adversity; dejection;
wretchedness; tribulation;
affliction; misfortune, sorrow; hardship; distress; suffering; disaster; depression;
agony.
Yet Jesus used that word, Woe.
Can you raise your two hands and shout this loud and clear:
Woe unto every enemy assigned to rubbish my destiny, in the name of Jesus.
That is why the Psalmist prayed acidic prayers. Look at one sample of the prayer of the psalmist.
Psalms 69:22–27 (KJV) said:
- “Let their table become a snare before them: and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap.
- Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make their loins continually to shake.
- Pour out thine indignation upon them, and let thy wrathful anger take hold of them.
- Let their habitation be desolate; and let none dwell in their tents.
- For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten; and they talk to the grief of those whom thou hast wounded.
- Add iniquity unto their iniquity: and let them not come into thy righteousness.
That is, if they set up a table and are eating, the food they are eating there should turn against them.
The water there should turn against them. You see that kind of prayer.
For somebody to be praying this kind of prayer, you know that he knows certain things and knows the kind of enemies that are facing him. David was a man after the heart of God. There is something very special about this man:
He had the prophetic anointing;
He had the kingly anointing: He had the warrior anointing; He had the priestly anointing; He had the worship anointing. He knew how to worship God; -He had the deliverance anointing. He was playing instruments, and the demon in the body of Saul left; and
He had the prayer anointing;
Those seven things were in David’s life.
He understood warfare and fought spiritual enemies.
He dealt with Goliath;
He dealt with the Philistines;
He subjected all his enemies to shame;
He never lost battles;
He was the one who eventually captured Jerusalem when the people there were boasting that even if the lame and blind guide the city, it cannot be taken.
He entered through their waterways and captured the city. It is therefore spiritually beneficial to learn from his prayers to pick lessons.
It is time for you to begin to pray the aggressive prayer of the psalmist.
When situations get to a level and they are mocking you, they are telling you to forsake Christ, they are telling you that you are useless, your mockers are more than your helpers, and it is calling for the aggressive prayer of the psalmist.
The coven that can withstand the aggressive prayer of the psalmist has not yet been created.
I remember that our father in the Lord who has gone to be with the Lord now. He died at age 107.
I went with him somewhere. They served us jollof-rice and fish. He said, Let us pray on the food, and we bowed our heads.
He read the first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth, eleventh, and twelfth psalms, and he was reading them in Yoruba on the food.
The food ran cold. Eventually, he finished the prayer. I could not eat. I was full of questions.
I asked,_ Daddy, why did you have to read so many psalms before we could eat?”
He looked at me and said in Yoruba, you are a kid.”
He said that he came from a highly polygamous homes with plenty of wives. He said all the wives, including his own mother, were witches.
And those were the people cooking their food. He was eating that food until he started primary 1 at the age of 17.
He said, “Young man, I will be praying n my food. That is the food that brought me to this level.
He knew the weapons. If not, his life would have been worse. Eventually, he went through school and became a man of God.
This is a very serious matter.
But the Christians of today are very lazy.
The great Apostle Babalola memorised all the psalms in his head, and that is where he used to take weapons from.
We are going to stop here today. We will continue this topic next time.
PRAYER POINTS.
- Serpents and scorpions biting my destiny, die in the name of Jesus;
- Thunder of God arises; destroy the enemies of my next level, in the name of Jesus;
- Stubborn pursuers hear the word of the Lord, pursue yourselves in the name of Jesus.
God bless you and your family, in Jesus name, amen.
