Until his new posting, Kwantagora has served in many police formations both in the north and southern part of the country.

Addressing newsmen yesterday in his office at force headquarters in Birnin Kebbi, Ahmed Kwantagora said, before he was posted to Kebbi, he has been hearing of banditry and other criminal activities, as well as the political and economic situations of the state, which has prepared him for the enormous tasks ahead.

Kwantagora also said that he would be fair to all and sundry, irrespective of tribe, race, and status in the society.
He warned criminals in the state to change their mind or leave the state in their own interest, as the command is going to put an end to all cases of human rights violation, extortion by policemen and all forms of criminal activities.
He said the command will synergize with other security agencies such as military, DSS, NSCDC and NDLEA to get rid of criminal activities in all parts of the state.
He called on the general public to sleep with their two eyes closed and feel free to volunteer useful information to curb all sorts of criminalities.
According to him, the command is also going to implement series of intelligence driven crime prevention strategies, anchored on community policing and community safety partnership to stem the tide of crimes in the state.
