Police Arrest 22-year-old For Allegedly Stabbing Salesgirl In Yobe

The Yobe State Police Command has arrested a 22 years old Sani Musa, popularly known as Regis Oga Soja at Nayi Nawa ward in Damaturu over his connection with the stabbing of a 24-year-old salesgirl.

The attacker also snatched the cell phone of the salesgirl in the incident.

Police Public Relations Officer in the Command, DSP Dungus Abdulkarim, who made disclosed this in a statement said the culprit was nabbed on 30th April, 2024 at about 2330hrs.

Abdulkarim said the Musa was arrested in a hideout having the snatched cellphone – Itel A663LC/MTN Sim Card and assorted charms in his possession.

DSP Dungus said the culprit unequivocally confessed to committing the crime when interviewed by the police.

He added that, “No stone will be left unturned.”

He quoted the Commissioner of Police, Garba Ahmed to express relief with the address, describing the operation as effective and timely.
