Gentlemen’s Forum Mourns Jigawa Lawmaker Dogonyaro

The Gentlemen’s Forum, a socio-economic group of professional Nigerian men dedicated to promoting service, leadership, and ethical conduct, has announced the unexpected passing of their esteemed member, Hon. Isa Dogonyaro (Kogunan Ringim).

In a press statement, the Forum described Hon. Dogonyaro, who represented the Babura/Garki Federal Constituency of Jigawa State in the House of Representatives from 2023 until demise, as a decorated former officer of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), a true embodiment of integrity and public service.

Also, the group said that Dogonyaro brought a wealth of experience and dedication to the forum, consistently upholding the values of ethical conduct and leadership.

“Honourable Dogonyaro’s impressive credentials spoke volumes about his commitment to excellence. He was an alumnus of the prestigious FBI National Academy and Harvard Business School, and held certifications as a trainer from esteemed institutions like the European Union, Department for International Development (DFID), United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), and the Basel Institute for Governance.

“Beyond his distinguished career, Honourable Dogonyaro was a pillar of his community. He served as the Chairman/Patron of Dogonyaro Farms (Nigeria) Ltd., a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to food security. He was also a devoted family man, married with two wives and children.

“Honourable Dogonyaro’s passing is a significant loss not just to Jigawa State and the House of Representatives, but also to The Gentlemen’s Forum. He was a valued member who embodied the Forum’s ideals of service and leadership. We will miss his wisdom, dedication, and unwavering commitment to making a positive impact,” said Mr Hakeem Condotti, spokesperson for the forum.
