Kwara State House of Assembly yesterday passed the Kwara State University Teaching Hospital Establishment Bill 2024 and the Kwara State University of Education Establishment Bill 2024 into law.

The Kwara State University Teaching Hospital Bill was passed after the chairman of the House Committee on Health and Environment, Hon  Rasaq Owolabi presented his committee’s report.

Similarly, the Kwara State University of Education Bill was passed after the chairman of the House Committee on Education and Human Capital Development, Hon Muhammad Salihu presented his committee’s report.

The clerk of the House, Alhaji AbdulKareem Olayiwola, had earlier read the two bills for the third time.

The speaker of the House of Assembly, Hon Yakubu Danlad-Salihu, thereafter directed the clerk to the House to prepare clean copies of the two bills for the governor’s accent.
