Novel Badminton Classics Seek Collaboration To Advance Sport

Novel Badminton Classics, a non-governmental organisation, is seeking collaboration of all stakeholders to advance the game of badminton in Nigeria and beyond. The organisation made the disclosure in its letter of introduction to relevant stakeholders, individuals and organisations.

The letter, signed by the secretary, executive committee of the badminton body, Arc. Usman M. Ahmed, said the Novel Badminton Classics Organisation came into being for the sole aim of promoting the game of badminton across the nation through collaboration with the Badminton Federation of Nigeria (BFN) and other stakeholders.

He said the objectives of the organisation are amongst others to foster unity and love amongst all badminton lovers in Nigeria, as well as to offer competition opportunities for badminton players in Nigeria and beyond, and to initiate and implement innovative programs for the advancement of the physical, psychological and social well-being of players of badminton and other sporting activities in Nigeria.

To achieve its lofty ideas, the organisation said it is vested with the responsibility of undertaking amongst other things – print and publish any information through any medium including newsletters, newspapers, articles, leaflets and booklets for the promotion of the game of badminton.

It will also organise courses, seminars, training, competitions/championships and other events across the country, and provide awards, gifts and prizes for participants and other notable stakeholders in accordance with its objectives.
