To reposition its quality of news reportage, current affairs, and other exciting programmes to satisfy its viewers, Kaftan TV has engaged the professional services of veteran broadcaster Reuben Okala to lead the Abuja office as head of the station.

Okala, expected to resume immediately, brings his wealth of experience spanning close to thirty years as a multitasking professional in journalism trenches at Nigeria’s premier television station, the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).

Kaftan TV’s chief executive officer, Waheed Odusile, unveiled the new station helmsman yesterday at a general meeting with the fast-rising station’s staff.

He admonished them to continue working hard while promising to look into their welfare and other payments. Odusile said there is no room for laziness at Kaftan TV, as hard work will be rewarded, just as any staff member engaging in professional misconduct will be shown the way out.
Okala expressed satisfaction with the facilities at the station.

“He urged them to be creative my carving a nitch for themselves, noting that collectively Kaftan tv can be taking to greater heights.”
