Ogunlende Unveils BHC New Logo, Restates Lagos’ Commitment To Social Inclusion

The Lagos State Commissioner for Youths and Social Development, Mr. Mobolaji Abubakre Ogunlende on Tuesday unveiled the new logo of the prestigious Bridge House College (BHC), restating the state government commitment to gender equality and social inclusion.

Ogunlende who spoke at a press conference heralding the 20th anniversary  and unveiling of the school’s new logo held in the school premises at Ikoyi,  Lagos said the main thrust of the Babajide Sanwo-Olu led administration THEMES Plus development agenda is to ensure that no one is left behind.

The commissioner who is an ex director of Bridge House College expressed satisfaction with the progress made by the school in the last twenty years.

the youth,  ultimately not to leave anyone behind,  no matter how

young they are.

“So catching them young as an ex-director of the school I have discovered that it is very important that we catch them young.  If they are able to catch them young and nurture them to better adults  and responsible  citizens the economy and community becomes safer .

“As you know a lot of the younger generation are very restless with energy, which is why the College has continued to ensure that their energy is channeled towards the right activities .”

Earlier,  the executive director, Bridge House College,  Mrs. Foluke Abdulrazaq said,, “Bridge House College, Ikoyi is a top sixth form college in Nigeria. Over the course of two decades, it has garnered an outstanding reputation by offering pertinent curricula, skilled teachers, and the facilities required to instruct and mentor students towards admission to global renowned universities.

It is located

within a gated estate in Ikoyi with a lagoon-view that provides a

conducive atmosphere for learning, as well as for delivering heuristic

pedagogy.

along with students’ active participation in co-curricular activities

enhances her status as one of Nigeria’s leading educational

institutions. The College maintains its high standards through her

membership of the Council of British International Schools (COBIS).”

 

 

 

 

 

She emphasised that the vision of the award winning school is , “To

help students achieve success in life through the acquisition of
