Ranti Jacobs Agbaminoja has been appointed secretary of the Board of Directors at Waterlight Save Initiative, a U.S.-based NGO approved by ECOSOC.

According to a statement issued by the management, this follows the 18th meeting on NGOs during the 2024 resumed session of the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).

The statement read in parts, “Renowned for her dedication to community development and impactful initiatives, Agbaminoja brings a strong background in communication to her new role. She is expected to provide strategic direction and boost collaboration within the board and the broader community.

“Waterlight Save Initiative focuses on global water sustainability, aiming to influence international policy, form strategic partnerships, secure funding, and raise awareness on critical water issues.

“As secretary, Agbaminoja will handle board meeting documentation, facilitate communication among board members, staff, and stakeholders, contribute to strategic goal development and implementation, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and non-profit governance best practices.
