Oladosu said the award which is the second of the Jare Adebisi-Balogun Education Grant (JABEG) was organised in memory of one of its members who made a giant stride in his commitment to the growth and development of the Ilobu community during his time.

The chairman noted that the three awardees, Salaudeen Ridwan, a Law student, Adedigba Ismail, Medicine student and Odewale Mubinat a Radiography student emerged through a transparent process conducted by erudite scholars having finally got selected out of nineteen students that applied for the grant.

During the presentation of grants to successful applicants, Alhaji Oladosu emphasised the need for parents in Ilobu to take the education of girl child seriously adding that the community is not doing much in that direction.
