Killings in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti state capital continue on Thursday afternoon as a rice hawker was gunned down by some unknown persons.

The deceased, who was said to be hawking rice in a wheelbarrow was shot dead at the popular Bisi Market in the town by the men riding on a motorcycle.

LEADERSHIP gathered that market women, traders and other people around immediately fled from the area following the incident.

A source said, “It happened this afternoon at Bisi Market around an orthodox church. They just came on a bike and shot the man.

“We don’t know what is happening now in this city. Just this morning, a PoS operator was killed at Adebayo area.
