Kaduna State Development and Property Company (KSDPC) has said that the maiden edition of Kaduna International Housing Exhibition (KADIHE 1.0) will drive economic growth and open partnership opportunities with investors.

The managing director of KSDPC, Arc Abubakar Rabiu Abubakar, said this yesterday in Kaduna during the “KADIHE 1.0 Stakeholder Engagement Pre-event Conference Programme.”

He said the event would also create opportunities for local businesses to expand.

The managing director, who was represented by the director of the event, KADIHE 1.0, Joshua James, said, “The Kaduna International Housing Exhibition is not merely a showcase of bricks and mortar; it is a testament to our dedication to creating sustainable communities and improving quality of life. It provides a vital platform for industry stakeholders to collaborate, share insights, and explore cutting-edge solutions that will shape the future of housing in Kaduna.

“We understand the profound impact of housing on economic development, social cohesion, and individual well-being. Guided by our mandate, we are steadfast in our pursuit of providing affordable, accessible, and resilient housing solutions that cater to the diverse needs of our citizens.”

According to him, Governor Uba Sani’s administration has started its mission of opening the state to investors, especially in the housing sector, in line with its agenda to upgrade infrastructure and invest massively in human capital development.

He noted that the event, which will take place on July 1 and 2, 2024, is making Kaduna the next destination hub in real estate, social housing, and other value-added elements in the housing chain.

He disclosed that nine governors from the north will grace the occasion, adding that 5,000 participants are expected to attend.

The general manager of Sales and Marketing at Al-Babello Trading Company Limited, Mahmud Umar Yero, noted that KADIHE 1.0 stands as a beacon of innovation and progress in the housing sector.

He said, “It provides a vital platform for industry leaders to showcase their expertise, exchange knowledge, and explore transformative solutions that will propel Kaduna towards sustainable urban development.”
