Abia State Governor, Alex Otti has congratulated players, fans, technical crew and management of Abia Warriors Football Club of Umuahia for their remarkable performance in the just concluded president Federation Cup where they lost 0-2 to El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri.

Otti, who praised the Umuahia-based team, said they made Abia State and Abia people proud in this year’s edition of the FA Cup and demonstrated tremendous improvement from their performance and records in the past editions.

The Governor commended the team for breaking the jinx and reaching the finals of the competition for the first time and encouraged them to use the experience as fuel for their next challenge.
