Anjola, who is a graduate of Chemical Engineering, was reported to have been gifted over N7.5 million by netizens who were thrilled by his gesture of returning the $14,000 mistakenly credited to his account.

The foreign crypto trader, identified as Raffayalvi took to his X (formerly Twitter) handle to publicise Anjola’s honesty, after which netizens requested the young man’s crypto wallet address and have been sending him money in appreciation.

In an attempt to credit Anjola his giveaway $100 prize, the crypto dealer mistakenly sent $14,000 (over N21 million). The foreigner immediately messaged Anjola to notify him about the erroneous transfer. The young Nigerian returned the said sum accordingly.

Anjola flaunted his crypto wallet thereafter on Tuesday, showing the influx of credit alerts into his account and the balance.

At the time of displaying his crypto wallet balance on X, the credit gift had summed to over $5,000 (over N7.5million).

In a video, Anjola had earlier explained how a white crypto trader mistakenly sent him the money. He said he had won $100 (over N150k) worth of Solana from the foreign trader.

Anjola narrated that he didn’t hoard the money because it didn’t belong to him.
