Oba Owolabi Akinloye Olakulehin on Friday, July 12, 2024, made history as the 89-year-old was crowned as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland.

The new Olubadan was crowned at the Labosinde compound, the family that has the mandate, according to the tradition, to crown all Olubadan of Ibadanland.

Oba Olakuleyin immediately moved to Ile Osemeji at Oja Oba area of the city after his crowning as the new Olubadan.
