Dessers scored 22 goals in 54 games across all competitions in his maiden campaign for the Light Blues.

Despite his impressive goal return, the Nigeria international was criticised by the club’s supporters for missing two many chances.

Greek Super League champions PAOK reportedly have strong interest in the striker.

There are also interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia, France and Italy.

Dessers however said his priority is to continue with Rangers.

“I am very happy here, so I would like to stay,” he told Ziggo Sports Voetbal via Footballtransfers.

“There is some interest, but my intention is to stay and then we will see what happens.”

The 29-year-old Dessers was the first choice striker for the Light Blues last term, featuring in 54 games across all competitions.
