Bauchi Governor Sacks Security Adviser

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has terminated the appointment of his chief security adviser, Dr Ahmed Chiroma, with immediate effect.

Governor Mohammed disclosed this yesterday in a statement signed by his spokesperson, Comrade Mukhtar Gidado and made available to reporters in Bauchi.

Mohammed directed Chiroma to hand over the affairs of his office to the chief security officer (CSO) to the governor.

“The termination of his appointment was conveyed to him through a letter signed by the secretary to the state government (SSG), Barrister Ibrahim Kashim,” Gidado said.

While commending Chiroma for his services as Bauchi State’s chief security adviser, the governor wished him well in his future endeavours.
