The NECO Registrar admonished candidates to work hard in order to have a good grade in the examination, stressing that “there is no shortcut to success.”

He further disclosed that since the commencement of the examination, he had monitored the exercise in Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, Abia, Imo and Anambra States to have first-hand information on the conduct of the examination.

According to him, in all the states visited so far, the critical stakeholders applauded NECO for the various measures put in place, which helped in making the conduct of 2024 SSCE seamless.

The Registrar disclosed that the examination was also being held in Togo, Benin Republic, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Niger Republic, Ivory Coast and the Kingdom of Saudi-Arabia.

Wushishi explained that the extension of NECO examinations to other countries indicated the acceptability of NECO Certificates across the world.
