The 30-year-old is back to full fitness again after recovering from the injury he sustained at the 2023 AFCON finals.

The centre-back scored in his first competitive game this season as Greek champions PAOK Salonica defeated Bosnian club, FK Borac Banja Luka 3-2 in a UEFA Champions League second round qualifying tie last week.

The reverse fixture will hold on Wednesday with the winner proceeding to the next round..
