Amusan showcased her dominance of the tracks as she outsmarted her competitors, with the U.S. Alaysha Johnson finishing second in 12.61 seconds and Jamaica’s Janeek Brown coming in third at 12.84 seconds.

The victory sets the stage for another thrilling performance from Amusan as she aims to secure a spot in the final and contend for an Olympic gold.

Amusan, a 23-year-old world champion, has an excellent collection of medals from competitions such as the African Championship, Diamond League, Commonwealth Games, World Championship, and African Games, but yet to win an Olympic medal.
