A statement issued by Governor’s spokesperson Mallam Mukhtar Gidado and made available to journalists in Bauchi yesterday commended the commandant of the college and his team for their outstanding work in providing cutting-edge research, teaching, and training that is essential in producing the next generation of leaders, not only in Nigeria but from across the globe.

Governor Bala Mohammed commended the NDC for its role in shaping future leaders, emphasising that the institution’s commitment to excellence is critical in addressing Nigeria’s leadership challenges.

He reiterated that authentic leadership is not about titles or individuals but collective efforts, partnerships, and sacrifices that contribute to a peaceful and progressive society, saying security is a collective responsibility.

According to Gidado, “Governor Bala Mohammed’s leadership in Bauchi State has been widely recognised for its focus on inclusivity, transparency, and the welfare of the people.

“His administration’s policies have sustained peace and promoted significant socio-economic growth, making Bauchi State a development model in Nigeria.”

The statement added that Governor Mohammed dedicated the award to the peace-loving people of Bauchi State and Nigeria, reflecting his administration’s continuous commitment to fostering unity and development across the nation.

Governor Abubakar called on the course participants to see themselves as the future of Nigeria and their respective countries, encouraging them to remain dedicated to their aspirations for a more peaceful, secure, and prosperous nation.

The event brought together key stakeholders in the security sector, highlighting the importance of collaborative efforts in ensuring national and global peace.
