Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has stated that he wants a swift resolution to their legal dispute with the Premier League.

The champions have been charged with 115 alleged financial infractions.

City’s case in front of an independent tribunal is set to commence next month, as previously established.
However, the ruling is not expected until next year. Guardiola’s men could face point deductions, huge fines, and relegation from the top flight.

Guardiola said: “I am happy that it starts soon and hopefully it will finish soon.

“For the benefit of all of us, especially the club but also other Premier League clubs and all the people who don’t wait for the sentence.

“I wish, from deep in my heart, we go to trial, and the independent panel as soon as possible releases what happened and we will accept like we always have.”
