The planned movement of Napoli striker and Nigerian international, Victor Osimhen, to the English Premier League (EPL) has remained elusive as the anticipated deal with Chelsea FC is said to be completely off for now.

Consequently, Osimhen might remain in Italy under a new and not-so-cordial atmosphere at Napoli FC.

LEADERSHIP reports that Osimhen’s anticipated transfer from Napoli has been in the news in the last few days owing to its associated intrigues.

Transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, disclosed the current status of the deal late Friday night in a post on his X handle (formerly Twitter).

Romano wrote: “🚨🔵 Deal completely OFF for Victor Osimhen.

“No agreement with Chelsea and #CFC delegation now leaving Napoli.

“If nothing happens from Saudi next 3 days, Osimhen will stay at Napoli but he’s NOT gonna be part of the first team squad.

“Relationship currently completely broken.”
