Al Nassr striker, Cristiano Ronaldo, has asked the club to sign Manchester City midfielder, Mateo Kovacic, in January.

According to CBS Sports, Al-Nassr are ready to offer to pay over $1million a week.

This would be approximately six times what Kovacic currently earns with the Premier League champions.
The Saudi Arabian club had hoped to sign Kovacic before the summer transfer deadline, however, their inability to clear space on their international roster prevented any deal from being finalized.

Al-Nassr failed to offload Sadio Mane and Anderson Talisca to create room in the squad.

Ronaldo has been instrumental in pushing for Kovacic’s move to Al-Nassr. The two players spent three seasons together at Real Madrid between 2015 and 2018.
