Total telecommunications and digital solutions provider, Globacom, has rejoiced with Nigerian Muslims on the occasion of the Eid el Maulud and admonished them to use this opportunity of Prophet Mohammed’s birthday by offering prayers for a more prosperous and peaceful Nigeria.

In a message of goodwill to the Muslim Ummah in Nigeria, Globacom asked them to celebrate the Prophet’s birthday with hope and optimism for a better nation.

“We congratulate our Muslim brethren on this unique occasion, and urge them to use the period to pray for the rapid economic recovery and peace of our beloved nation,” the company said in a statement.

It equally urged Muslims to use the occasion to extend their hands of fellowship by sharing goods with neighbours, especially the less fortunate, and reminded them that the birth of Prophet Mohammed was greeted with peace and goodwill.

The company encouraged Muslims to utilise its range of services and products, such as SMS, voice, and data offerings.
