It was a day of joy and a dream come true for the Staff and Students of Junior Secondary School, Gosa, Airport Road, Abuja, as God answered their prayer of having a place of worship in addition to their academic pursuit.

It was an eruption of joy at the dedication of the Fellowship of Christian Students (FCS) Chapel at the school. The project was undertaken and commissioned by the senior pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr Paul Enenche, as part of his personal pet project and corporate social responsibility (CSR).

He, therefore, handed over the auditorium to the authorities of GJSS Gosa, Abuja.

Speaking at the unveiling and dedication of the building to journalists, Dr Enenche said: “What I have for Nigerians are two fold, both for the leadership and followership. We should function with the fear of the Lord with eternal consequences in mind that, one day every leader and followership, everybody will give the account of their lives before a king that can’t be compromised, everybody from every realm.”

Secondly, he urged “people to function with the welfare of human welfare at heart, leadership means nothing if human welfare is not in the forefront.”

Speaking on the hardship in the land as Nigeria marks her 64th independence anniversary, he urged Nigerians not give up, saying, “the bible says, to him who’s joined to the living there’s hope, the meaning of that is, a living dog is better than a dead lion, for as long as there’s life, hope must be kept alive, anything can change anytime provided life is on, the purpose of the chapel is for character transformation.”

Dr Enenche while delivering his sermon at the newly built auditorium, said the chapel is a place of God’s presence where we experience Him, a place of encounters and that was the reason why he undertook the project at the school.

On his part, the principal of GJSS Gosa, Afolabi Joshua, said: “I thank God to be alive to see and witness this commissioning, particularly it’s happening in my time, we are sure this chapel will attract many spiritual programs and revival here.” He, therefore, prayed earnestly for God’s servants – Dr Paul & Dr. Mrs Becky Enenche.

Also, the state chairman of Fellowship of Christian Students (FCS), FCT chapter, said: “Dr Paul Enenche has been supporting the FCS with money every month for the past six years.”

While on her part, Ogene Okolo, a student of GJSS, Gosa, said: “I want to thank Dr. Paul & Dr. Mrs Becky Enenche for this awesome building, it’s a magnificent one and it will help us so well to fellowship in the house of the Lord.”

The chapel was personally paid for and built by Dr. Pastor Paul and Dr Mrs Becky Paul-Enenche in addition to other humanitarian services in Gosa community.

The dedication of the chapel turned out to be a revival gathering at the end, with souls saved in their multitude to the glory of God.
