JUST-IN: Federal Gov’t, Labour Leaders Meet Over Fuel Price Hike

Representatives of the Organised Labour are currently in a meeting with the federal government on issues around the recent hike in fuel pump price.

LEADERSHIP gathered the meeting, which is taking place at the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF), involved leaders of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC ) and Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC) on the part of the Organised Labour while the federal government team has the National Security Adviser (NSA) Nuhu Ribadu; Minister of the State for Labour and Employment, Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, and Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun.

Others include Information Minister, Alhaji Mohammed Idris; Minister of State for Petroleum (Oil) Heineken Lokpobiri; his counterpart for Gas, Ekperikpe Ekpo, and representatives of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL).
