Controversial crossdresser, Okuneye Idris, also known as Bobrisky, was on Thursday night apprehended while trying to leave the country aboard a KLM flight.
He was taken off the Amsterdam-bound flight and detained by immigration officers.
Social commentator, Isaac Fayose, had earlier shared a photo with Bobrisky on Instagram, indicating they were on the same flight to London.
Videos making the rounds online later showed airport officials removing Bobrisky from the flight.
Bobrisky took to his Instagram page to alert his fans about the arrest alleging that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) was responsible for his detention.
He also expressed that he sustained injuries while struggling with the immigration officers.
He wrote, “Nigerians help me, EFCC just arrested me. I’m badly injured.”
LEADERSHIP recalls that on October 22, Bobrisky was caught at the Seme border while allegedly attempting to flee the country amid investigation over his claims of bribing EFCC and Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS) officials in a recording published on social media by an activist, VeryDarkMan.
Recall that Bobrisky, who was sentenced to six months in prison by the Federal High Court in Lagos for naira abuse, alleged in the leaked audio recording shared by VeryDarkMan that he served his term in a private apartment close to the prison.
In the leaked audio, Bobrisky also alleged that popular rapper Falz and his father demanded money from him to help secure a state pardon for him.
