Ademola Lookman has admitted it would be special to win the 2024 CAF Men’s Player of the Year award.
Lookman, however, declared that he is not under pressure to win the individual accolade.
The Atalanta star is one of the 10 nominees for this year’s award.

The 27-year-old has been widely tipped to claim the honour following an impressive year for his club and country.

Lookman said the key thing is for him to continue his development as a player.

“I don’t think I am feeling additional pressure. I think I have kept the same mindset; I have kept the same work ethics. I am just trying to do my best on the pitch,” the Nigerian international told 54footballx.

“I think I try to improve every single day, and you know if I can win the award, it would be special most definitely for me, my family, my people, my country, that is the future. The future will come. Now, I need to focus on doing my best,” he said
