Late COAS Lagbaja For Burial Friday

Subject to any unforeseen developments, the late Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt. General Taoreed Lagbaja, is set to be buried in Abuja this Friday.

His elder brother, Moshood Lagbaja, shared this information in Osogbo, Osun State, during a condolence visit from the St. Charles Grammar School Osogbo Old Boys Association (SCOBA).

He mentioned that while the military has not yet released his remains to the family, they are assured that he will receive a dignified burial in Abuja on the designated day.

The SCOBA delegation presented a condolence letter to the family, signed by Tade Adekunle, the association’s global president, and Leye Odetoyinbo, the general secretary.

Engineer Adesina Salami, the first Vice President and leader of the delegation spoke on behalf of SCOBA. He praised the late Lagbaja as an extraordinary individual and a proud alumnus of the school and acknowledged Lagbaja’s distinguished service to the nation.
