Kano Pillars will stage a return to the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano for their home games in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) from this weekend. The Sai Masu Gida are billed to host Heartland in a matchday 12 fixture on Sunday.

The club had temporarily moved their home matches to Muhammad Dikko Stadium in Katsina State due to renovations at the Sani Abacha Stadium, which has now been completed.

The stadium has been a stronghold for Pillars, helping them secure key wins, including their league title a few seasons ago.

Despite playing away from home, Pillars have remained one of the toughest teams in the NPFL,  recording three wins, one draw and one defeat during their time in Katsina this season. .

Kano Pillars, who registered their second away win of the campaign over Bendel Insurance on Sunday, are currently fifth on the NPFL table with 17 points.
