The minister made the appeal during the NSITF 2022/2023 service award in Abuja.

Represented by Ngozi Anukwu, director II of the Social Security Department, Dingyadi emphasised the importance of efficient resource management as a cornerstone of productivity.

According to a statement by the fund’s general manager of corporate communications, Nwachukwu Godson, the minister commended the NSITF for its contributions to uplifting the nation’s workforce.

The minister urged the award recipients to view the recognition as motivation to double their efforts to drive the Fund’s progress and contribute to national development.

“This award ceremony coincides with a period when the federal government under President Tinubu placed a high premium on resource optimisation and the efficiency of service delivery.

It celebrates staff’s remarkable energies and dedication in advancing the fund’s social security mandate, especially through the Employees Compensation Scheme.” he said.

In his remarks, NSITF managing director Oluwaseun Faleye described the awards as a celebration of exceptional contributions and a reaffirmation of the fund’s core values of hard work, dedication, and excellence.

Faleye highlighted the strategic objectives of his administration, which focus on five key pillars aimed at re-engineering the organisation to achieve greater social safety net coverage for Nigerians.

He said, “As we reflect on today’s recognitions, let’s consider what it means to truly excel.” Exquisite performance transcends targets and deadlines; it’s about overcoming challenges and embracing teamwork.

Your resilience, creativity, and sacrifices reflect extraordinary commitment deserving of our deepest appreciation.”

“While we honour individual excellence, let it be noted that our achievements result from collective effort. Together, we are building a culture of success that will inspire future generations within our organisation.”

Among the honorees were Lateef Musa, general manager for compliance; Ndakoji Musa, assistant general manager; and Chinenye Okoroafor, assistant manager at the Lekki branch in Lagos.
