According to the new rankings released on Thursday by the world soccer governing body (FIFA), the three-time African champions dropped eight places to 44th spot in November’s ranking.

The Nigerian senior male team however maintained the same spot in December’s ranking for not engaging in much actions in the month under review as only 21 international matches were played over the past weeks since the previous rankings without the Nigerian team involved in any of the games.
