The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the lawmaker representing Lavun, Mokwa, and Edati constituency inaugurated the multi-million naira project on Sunday.

During the ceremony, Audu-Gana said the project was part of his efforts to restore the lost glory of education in the area, Niger and Nigeria.

According to him, the government should not be alone in providing quality education to Nigerians.

He, therefore, urged Nigerians to complement their governments’ efforts in funding education.

He said it fulfilled his promise to the constituents and complemented Gov Umar Bago’s efforts to move the education sector forward.

Audu-Gana described education as the best legacy any society could bequeath to its citizens.

He called on the school management to take full ownership of the project and protect it adequately.

Audu-Gana also extolled the giant strides of Bago of the state, saying that he had succeeded in transforming the state.

The lawmaker also said adequate nationwide primary school learning and instructional facilities were key to sustainable development.

Audu-Gana, who described education as the bedrock for development, assured his constituents of his commitment to vigorously follow up on projects captured for the area in the 2025 Budget.

He also urged Nigerians to support President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

In separate remarks, the Education Secretary of Lavun Local Government, Mr Jibril Hassan-Abubakar, and NUT chairman Yahaya Muhammad appealed for more work to bridge the infrastructure gap in the area.
