Hajiya Rakiya Dabo, the Group Lead, announced this achievement at the conclusion of a three-day training program focused on sustainable agricultural development held on Tuesday in Bauchi. This initiative was a collaborative effort with Jama’atul Izalatul Bidi’a Waikamatus Sunnah (JIBWIS).

The training aimed to equip women with essential skills to enhance farming practices and contribute to the economic growth of the state. “Women play a vital role in the development of our communities, and it is essential that we provide them with the necessary tools and support to succeed,” Dabo emphasized.

During the event, Dr. Ibrahim Disina highlighted the significance of Muslim women, stating that they are the backbone of society, and their contributions to economic and social development are invaluable. He encouraged participants to apply the skills they acquired to enhance their talents and foster economic growth for the benefit of their communities.

Prof. Zubairu Madaki, Chairman of JIBWIS in the state, praised the initiative and urged the beneficiaries to uphold respect within their households in accordance with Islamic principles. “As women, you have a critical role in maintaining harmony at home and promoting peaceful coexistence in the community,” he remarked. He also encouraged them to utilize the ideas shared during the training for a brighter future. “The knowledge and skills you have acquired are not only for your personal benefit but also for the welfare of your families and communities,” he added.
