Speaking at the Banquet Hall, Government House, Gombe on Thursday during the flag off of the payment, the governor emphasised his administration’s commitment to the welfare and prosperity of the people of Gombe State.

He noted that the intervention fund is part of the government’s efforts to provide a safety net for those affected by the floods and empower them to rebuild their lives.

The governor announced that 10,000 beneficiaries have been identified for the intervention, including members of MSME associations, the physically challenged and other vulnerable groups.

He urged the beneficiaries to make good use of the funds, stressing that it is not just an opportunity to recover but also a chance to grow stronger and become more resilient.
