Dr. Barikor emphasized that all telecommunications infrastructure must adhere to environmental regulations, ensuring due diligence is conducted before the project commences.

He also stressed the importance of public sensitization on the environmental impact of such developments.

Leading the delegation, Prof. M.T. Ladan assured NESREA that the project team is prioritising environmental compliance, particularly through a thorough Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).
