Nigerian companies in the oil and chemical sectors have been challenged to embrace innovation, strengthen technical capacity and build lasting business relationships to survive in an increasingly competitive industrial environment.
The advice came from the Chief Executive Officer of Eunisell, Ken Okeiyi, as the company marked its 30th anniversary.
Reflecting on the firm’s experience since its establishment in 1996, Okeiyi said businesses must continually improve their capabilities and develop solutions that respond to customers’ changing needs to remain relevant and sustain growth.
In a statement issued by Eunisell to mark the anniversary on Wednesday, Okeiyi said the ability to adapt to evolving industry demands, alongside investment in technical expertise and new technologies, was essential to overcoming operational challenges and maintaining competitiveness.
“Over the years, we have strengthened our capabilities, expanded our solutions portfolio and built enduring relationships with customers, partners, industry professionals and other stakeholders,” he said.
Okeiyi attributed the company’s progress partly to the confidence of its customers and partners and the commitment of its workforce, noting that these relationships had contributed to its development over the past three decades.
The Eunisell chief executive said businesses must also be willing to explore new opportunities, deepen partnerships and adopt approaches that enable them to respond effectively to changes in their operating environments.
He added that the company would continue to build on its experience while embracing new technologies and strengthening its capacity to address customers’ operational challenges.
Okeiyi said the company’s 30th anniversary offered an opportunity to reflect on its journey and recognise the contributions of its employees, customers, suppliers, business partners and other industry stakeholders.
