The Director-General of the Board, Alhaji Ahmed Umar Labbo, disclosed this in a press statement issued through the Board’s Public Relations Officer, Comrade Habibu Yusif Babura.

Alhaji Labbo revealed that all necessary arrangements have been concluded to ensure the commencement of the pilgrims’ airlifting in May.

The Director-General added that the Board has already remitted over N6 billion to the National Hajj Commission for the seats allocated to the state.

“This year, 1,750 seats were allocated to the state and distributed to centre officers across the 37 local government areas for the intending pilgrims,” he said.
