Enyimba Will Qualify For CAF Confederation Cup Quarterfinals, Eguma Insists

Enyimba technical adviser, Stanley Eguma believes his team can still qualify for the next round of the 2024/2025 CAF Confederation Cup.

Eguma declared that it is not over yet for Enyimba in the competition.

The Aba club moved to third position in Group D following their 1-1 draw with Egyptian side Al-Masry at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on Sunday.

The People’s Elephant have registered five points while Al-Masry have garnered six points.

Egyptian giants, Zamalek are top of the group with 11 points while Mozambican club, Black Bulls are bottom of the group with four points.

“It’s not the end of the road. We still have the next game to play,” Eguma stated in a post-match interview.

“If Al-Masry can come here and play the game of our lives, we can go to Egypt, and who knows what the outcome of the other games will be. We are still optimistic, it is not over until it is over.”
