An eyewitness, Doove Micheal told our correspondent that two young men had snatched a motorcycle and were seen pushing it along Akpehe road when a lady identified it as a stolen motorcycle and alerted some youths in the area.

According to him “They were pushing the motorcycle along Akpehe Road. A lady identified it as a stolen bike and immediately raised alarm. The suspects abandoned the motorcycle and were trying to escape but luck ran out of one that was caught.

“One of the suspects escaped, and the other one was arrested by youths in the area and was immediately set ablaze before the arrival of the police.”

Efforts to speak with the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Catherine Anene did not yield results as her phone was switched off at the time of filling this report.
