NPFL: Amapakabo Calls For Focus As Abia Warriors Push For Continental Ticket

Abia Warriors technical adviser, Imama Amapakabo has urged his players to focus on securing a top three finish this season.

The Umuahia-based club moved to third position on the NPFL table following a 3-1 over Shooting Stars in Umuahia on Sunday.

Amakapabo expressed optimism that his team will get the points needed in the remaining games of the season.

“We started the season wanting to play for every points which brought us to where we are now,” Amapakabo told Abia Warriors media.

“Three games to go till the end of the campaign, we will keep on working hard and believing that we will get the results.

“Our expectations are in view, we will be hoping to keep our heads om our shoulders till we get to our destination.”

Amapakabo also stated that his team will pay much attention to their last three league fixtures.

 

“If we are able to get the desired result in our next two games i think we are good to go with the last game will just be a formality.”

Abia Warriors will take on Niger Tornadoes in their next league game.
