Security personnel including those of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), the Department of State Services (DSS), and the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSDC) were stationed at the venue’s entry points and within.

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) are expected to address welfare of workers, the implementation of the new minimum wage, and other issues affecting the workers at the occasion.
