This announcement was made during a stakeholders’ meeting with fare collectors from the state’s 17 local government areas.

According to Alhaji Mai Aliyu, the inaugural flight, operated by Umza Air, aligns with the schedule released by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).

Mai Aliyu said the commission has finalised all necessary arrangements to ensure a smooth and successful commencement of Hajj operations.

He urged all pilgrims to adhere strictly to the regulations set by both Nigerian and Saudi Arabian authorities throughout the pilgrimage. He further called on the intending pilgrims to cooperate with the commission to ensure a seamless experience.
