National leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and Kwankwasiyya Movement, Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, has denied mooting any idea of a new political alignment ahead of the 2027 general election, describing such insinuations as ‘false, unfounded and products of political mischief’.
Kwankwaso, in his verified Facebook page yesterday said he had decided to keep mute about political developments in the country and would continue to do so for now.
The former Kano State governor wrote: “My attention has been drawn to a statement purportedly stating my position on the recurring political realignments in Nigeria. I wish to categorically state that such statements are false, unfounded and products of political mischief. I have refrained from commenting on contemporary political events and I will continue to do so for the time being.”
Kwankwaso urged the public to only engage statements that come from his public handles and other official sources.
