LEADERSHIP reports the arrests of the two wanted bandits in Abuja and Sokoto Hajj camps, respectively, less than 24 hours apart between Sunday and Monday while being attended to preparatory to their departure to the Holy Land to observe the 2025 Hajj rites.

Reacting to the developments, Bashir Ahmed wondered what the suspected criminals would want to go and do in Saudi Arabia after earning blood money for killing and kidnapping innocent Nigerians for no just cause.

He wrote: “I honestly don’t understand where these bandit terrorists find their audacity. They kill, they kidnap innocent people, extort families for ransom and now want to go to Hajj with the proceeds.

“To do what exactly? Seek forgiveness with wealth soaked in blood and tears? It is a mockery of everything Hajj stands for.”
