The governor congratulated the Bwatiye nation for successfully hosting the event themed “Culture and Development,” describing it as timely and significant for fostering unity among the Bwatiye people.
He appreciated the Bwatiye community for their unwavering support over the past six years and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to promoting unity and peace across Adamawa State.
Chairman of the occasion, Dr Agbu Kefas, donated N15 million in a fundraising effort.

He described Adamawa and Taraba States as “twin sisters” that share many things in common.

In his remarks, the president of Pena Da Bwatiye Development Association Worldwide, Chief James Iliya, said the event was organised to celebrate the oneness of the people and promote shared prosperity and development.
