Gov Otu Pledges Progress In Infrastructure, Social Services

Cross River State governor, Bassey Otu, has promised to embark on aggressive development of infrastructure and expansion of social services, which includes investment in education and healthcare.

Otu gave the assurance in Calabar while reacting to his endorsement for a second term in 2027 two days ago by the Cross River Political Network (CRISPON).

“The present administration shall focus on job creation, economic growth, security, transparency and accountability,” stated.

The governor lauded the group backing him up since he assumed office, stressing that the support by the group had inspired him to redouble his efforts to transform the state through unity and sustainable development.

Governor Otu maintained that one of the policy thrusts of his administration is to focus more in the formulation of policies that would attract good governance, job creation economic growth, enhance security measures, transparency and accountability in governance.

 

CRISPON’s director-general, Dr Prince Michael Abuo, cited President Bola Tinubu and Gov Otu’s transformative leadership and good governance as reasons for their endorsement, assuring him of maximum support in the 2027 elections.

 

The group assured Governor Otu and President Tinubu of their maximum support to ensure that the duo emerge as president and Cross River State governor come 2027.
