PDP Will Never Die – National Vice Chairman

The South East vice national chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chidiebere Egwu, has said the PDP will never die, adding that it will bounce back in the zone in 2027.

Egwu stated this when he led the executive committee of the zone to an official visit to Abia State chapter of the PDP in Umuahia, the state capital.

“We’re not merely a political structure-we are a movement, a family, a home for all who believe in justice, equity, good governance, and national unity.” he explained.

He said they came to assure the chapter on behalf of both the zonal executive committee and the national leadership of the PDP that the PDP still remains intact .

“The PDP is undergoing a strategic and deliberate process of rebuilding-one that will engage all loyal members, reinvigorate our structures, and restore confidence among our people”

In a remark, chairman of the chapter, Abraham Amah.noted that despite its loss in in the 2023 election, the PDP remains a strong and formidable force in the state.

The chairman acknowledged the support of former governor of the state Okezie Ikpeazu and Senator Austin Akobundu (Abia Central) among others for the chapter.

Amah, who explained that the chapter had since began to reorganise and reposition the chapter, added “We’re determined to take back the state come 2027.”

Speaking, the zonal legal adviser and a member of the chapter, Ukpai Ukairo, said all hands must be on deck to ensure the PDP reclaims its past glory across the zone.
