Adamawa State is set to establish the College of Technology Innovations and Entrepreneurship Studies.
Commissioner of Education and Human Capital Development, Comrade Umar Garba Pella, disclosed this while receiving the Technical Committee on establishing the college.
The Chairman of the Committee and Director General of the State Debt Management Agency, Professor Ibrahim Danjuma, expressed gratitude to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for the trust and confidence reposed in the committee.
“I am happy to present the report of the Technical Committee on the establishment of Adamawa State College of Technology Innovations and Entrepreneurship Studies to the Hon. Commissioner of Education and Human Capital Development, Comrade Umar Garba Pella,” Professor Danjuma stated.
He lauded the efforts of the committee members for their dedication and commitment, noting that the team worked tirelessly to complete the task within the stipulated time frame. “I doff my hat to the wonderful and amazing members of this committee for working assiduously to deliver on our mandate in record time,” he added.
The submission of the report marks a significant step toward the realisation of the proposed college, which aims to expand access to technology-driven and entrepreneurial education in Adamawa State.
Responding, Pella thanked the committee for fulfilling its mandate and service to the state, saying the government would study the report for further implementation.
